About Legacy Landscapes
Legacy Landscapes is a central Texas owned and operated company in existence for over 20 years. We are owned by David and Betsy Karnes, a couple passionate about all things outdoors and landscaping. They have three children whom you may see pop up on the job site from time to time.
Our values are simple and straightforward: We strive to treat our customers and team members with respect, quality and dignity. We thrive in using our creativity and skills to enhance the beauty of the outdoors. Our passion isn’t just in improving things on the outside but also using our abilities to impact our community and world in a holistic way.
As such, we are constantly participating in community involvement and also contribute to various mission agencies worldwide. We want our work not just to be something good for today and gone tomorrow, but something that leaves a positive impact on our customers, employees, the environment, and ultimately, the world. Anti-Human Trafficking, Single Mom Giveaway, Other Engagements
One of our biggest passions is combating the horror of sex trafficking plaguing the world today. As a small part of the fight, we help sponsor the annual "Light Up The Dark 5K Race." Another passion dear to our hearts is honoring the heroes among us. And there are no greater heroes that we see than SINGLE MOMS. We know that single moms want to create outdoor spaces that their kids (and they) can enjoy but many don't have the time or resources to build such a space. So every year we choose a single mom from the community that is nominated by their peers and bless them with a $5,000 landscape project. It's a small thing we can do to show these heroes that they are seen and that we think that they're AMAZING! Send us a message if you know of a mom you would like to nominate!
Other areas we are passionate about are honoring our veterans, helping the poor through world engagement, and investment in families. We believe our landscaping company, through your project, can affect this world for the greater good!

- I found I needed a base for the shed I bought at Costco. I opted for gravel. Since I wanted the base to outlast me and the slope in my yard. I decided on a stone border as opposed to the more traditional wood beams. Legacy Landscapes help me choose the material and explained to me their vision. I couldn't be happier with the final results. As a testament to the quality of the work, once assembled, the doors sat perfectly flush and squared. - We hired Legacy to remove all our St Augustine grass, regrade our front and back lawns, relay our walking paths, and add ground cloth and river rocks to our gardens. This was a big job and the workers were diligent and mindful of our neighbors lawns and our pool hardscape. - It was an absolutely, painless easy process to work with Drew at Legacy Landscape! I am still shocked at how well communication and timeline went based on my other contractor experiences. The work was done quickly and the quality was great. We had four projects done - sod played down, built up playscape area, paver and rock area and an extension of our driveway.
